the A children {portrait} | fort st john photographer

Yay for outdoor school pictures!! Aren't these more interesting and, *ahem* natural, than those neon backgrounds in the school gym? (90's shout out!) A big thank you to those who booked. Hopefully, next time we'll see a few more of you ;)

mademoiselle J {grad/senior} | fort st john photographer

I love being around happy people. Mademoiselle J happens to be one of the happiest, most content young ladies I've ever known. She came to FSJ for a few weeks to do a bit of equestrian training. It was quite the pleasure capturing a few grad photos for her.

miss K {portrait} | fort st john photographer

Meet Miss K. Lovely. Gorgeous. (duh.) And completely willing to let me practice so many different photographic ideas. I want to showcase a variety of poses and city walls and yes, pictures can be cool and interesting with these backgrounds. Don't be shy, people! This is about half of the images I wanted to shoot that night….sunlight is fading!!! Ah! Perhaps another time, hmm? Enjoy!

Breathtaking isn't she? SO much fun, too. :)

d + s {couple} | fort st john photographer

I love when my camera gets invited out to a farm.
 History. Love. Family. Memories.
These sessions are particularly poignant when change is about to take place. I feel an extra sense of urgency to capture certain things just right. I was privy to stories, emotion and glorious country lighting as it set for the day.

Mr. D didn't want one single image to be up on here.
And of course I couldn't agree to that. ;)
But what I think we'll both agree is that D + S will have a lovely selection of images to treasure as change inevitably happens.

Enjoy, friends.
